Sri Kalyana Venkateshwara swami temple is at Srinivasa Mangapuram to the west of Tirupati. Legend has it that, Lord Venkateshwara stayed here after his marriage with Sri Padmavathi Devi, before proceeding to Tirumala.
It is believed that, individuals having trouble in getting married at proper age and people having a troubled married life, can pray here and get rid off their problems. So is the importance of this temple, that just by taking the prasadam of God or by performing some rituals, they will have a happy married life. Utsavam is performed to the Lord every day in this temple.

TTD recently introduced a package tour covering the following temples around Tirupati: 1) Sri Venugopala swami Temple, Karvetinagaram, 2) Sri Vedanarayana swami Temple, Nagalapuram, 3) Sri Kalyana Venkateswara swami Temple, Narayanavanam and 4) Sri Padmavathi Temple, Tiruchanoor. The bus starts from the Second Choultry (behind the Railway Station) at 7 a.m. and returns by 1.20 p.m. every Sunday and Monday. Fare is generally Rs.38/-.
There are good hotels and lodging in Tirupati with all the basic amenities required. However, bookings have to be made well in advance as the number of pilgrims visiting the temple is always higher.
